- Includes larger MCID (big mouth) inlet, bulged main gear doors and larger wheels in addition

VISTA (Variable-stability In-flight Simulator Test Aircraft) NF-16D.
The VISTA airframe is a Block 30 airframe, heavily modified with the landing gear from the later Block 40s
(bulged main landing gear doors, larger main wheels, landing lights moved to the nose gear door) and the
dorsal avionics spine from the Israeli Block 40 Peace Marble F-16Ds, now housing special flight control computers.
- The VISTA cockpit has been heavily modified, including the addition of a center control stick in the front cockpit.
The kit does not depict these cockpit changes . For photos of the VISTA cockpit refer to the
F-16 Cockpit Reference section of this website.
- During the MATV program a special thrust-vectoring version of the F110-GE engine was installed.
After the MATV program the thrust-vectoring engine was removed and both F100-PW and F110-GE engines
have been installed at different times. The box art shows an F100-PW engine installed.
Check your references for the time period you are modeling to be sure you have the correct engine.
