1:72 scale F-16 kits by Italeri, Testors

The Italeri and Testors kits share the same molds. Generally accurate in shape and detail, but the intake is blocked off a short distance from the opening. External stores vary between releases. Canopies can be built open or closed. Ejection seat is the Stencel III used only in the FSD aircraft. Two exhaust nozzles are included, one open, one closed.

  • Description: F-16A/B RNZAF Fighting Falcon
  • Out of the box this kit is a Block 15 F-16, and can be built as either an F-16A or F-16B.
  • This is the Italeri kit #130 with a custom decal sheet for the proposed RNZAF version when the Royal New Zealand Air Force was considering acquiring the embargoed Pakistani F-16s. The airframes were Block 15OCU F-16As and Bs. The RNZAF tail numbers and markings are hypothetical.
