1:32 scale F-16 kits by Revell
The first 1:32 Revell kit came out shortly after the Hasegawa kit, and shares many similarities. Both have a mixture of raised and engraved panel lines, external stores are the same, and the parts breakdown for the landing gear is almost identical - except the Revell kits give you real rubber tires! However, overall the Revell kit is much less detailed that the Hasegawa. The one-piece canopy lacks the distinctive "bubble" cross-section shape, and cannot be opened (without cutting) which is just as well as cockpit detail is also lacking. No open gun bay or M-61 gun, no intake trunking, and no opening radome or radar detail. Of course the Revell kits are also significantly less expensive than the Hasegawas.

Later releases of the kit include new parts for the F-16C, GE engines, correct ACES II seat, and updated stores. All 1:32 Revell kits are NSI "small mouth inlet" kits, the MCID was never offered.
