| A closeup of the instrument panel before the CRTs and switch panels have been installed. The platform above the instrument panel will support a 21" monitor for the "out-the-window" view. Note there are no rudder pedals - yaw inputs are done by twisting the sidestick controller. This seemed awkward at first but even the USAF pilots adapted to it rather quickly. |
