Flight Simulation

In case you haven't figured it out yet, I'm quite interested in airplanes (technical term: wingnut). This interest extends to computerized flight simulators. My first job after college was at a company called Rediffusion Simulation. I built computer models of aircraft, airfields and terrain for computer generated visual systems. I later worked on simulated aircraft avionics on a project called "Glass Cockpit". All of this led to my designing and building my own cockpit at home to fly PC-based flight simulations. As if to justify this extension of my childhood, I then built a flight simulator exhibit for the American Airlines C.R. Smith Museum near D/FW International Airport in Texas.
