Drag racing in Houston in the early 80s.
On street tires I ran a traction-limited 13.28 at 108 MPH in the quarter-mile.
This was with the stock 3.08 rear gears and 7K3 heads on a 2-bolt 455,
068 cam (288/302 adv) and headers, naturally aspirated and through the mufflers.
And look! I dumped those Corvette wheels for some WS6 snowflakes!
